As Sweet Home Uptown Honoree Event friends, supporters and Voice allies came together to honor Helen Shiller, former alderman of the 46th Ward, with the publication of her book "Daring To Struggle; Daring to Win". The book chronicles five decades of work in support of affordable housing and social justice, providing insight into these issues in Uptown and citywide and context on a legacy that lives on at Voice and with its residents... families over a few generations who were partners in this struggle.
